Get caned with the Candy Caners at the South Pole Saloon
Take the wrong turn in Brixton and you may just stumble upon something rather sinister…and Christmassy. It’s a weird concept, but it totally works. These guys have taken over a car park spot for the Christmas period to bring us The South Pole Saloon a mix of street food pop up inc Dip & Flip, Dosa Deli and more 3 bars provided by Jack Daniels, Brooklyn Lager and Kronenberg. Along with the indulgences, you can also hire out one of the private rooms in the shape of a Rebel Elves den, Candy Caners Boudoir & The Snowmans Pimp Shack… That’s right, Snowman is the pimp and Santa is a Capitalist pig. See the full bizarrely wonderful story here. All concept artwork created by Dr Zadok
Get lost behind the keyhole at the House of Peroni
We managed to get over to these guys on their opening night (many thanks Dojo App) and got a little tour around this place, and what a stunning set up! Made up to look between a typical Italian walkway and a dream set from the Teatro della Pergola, the space is filled with different rooms including one tucked away with the only window is a tiny key hole. Here you can feast on heavenly arancini balls and sip on homemade limoncello topped with cotton candy. Get in while you can right here.
